Here at the "Love A Lab-KY Rescue" we rescue Labrador Retrievers and Lab-mixes from local area high-kill shelters. Our main goal is to take in, assist, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, neglected or homeless Labs and Lab/mixes of all ages.
 
We are unique because we only take in 2-3 rescues at a time and they live with us, in our home, with our own family labs. They are treated like family until the day they leave for their new forever home. We work with them on their manners and social behavior.
 
 
We have 7 wonderful, fenced acres of land for the Labs to run, play and socialize with our matriarchs Bailey, Ellie Mae  and Jessie James. If you are looking for a wonderful pet for your family then you have come to the right place. We believe in responsible pet ownership and advocate spaying and neutering. We are not breeders, we are rescuers foremost.
 
We are now affiliated with Labs4Rescue out of CT, which means we are able to home more labs. The labs adopted through Labs4Rescue, that are fostered here in KY at our rescue, can be transported by Rescue Road Trips to the East Coast for their new homes.
 
**We DO NOT adopt out any of our labs to be outside dogs, they have to be part of the family and live inside your home.**
 
**Please remember the cost of food, vet care, heartguard and frontline have all gone up, which means adoption fee's must go up for us to continue the quality of care we give our foster Labs. Our fee ranges from $175-$225 depending on our vet fee's and the length of time they spend with us, where we have to pick them up and where we take them to their new homes. All Labs leave us spay or neutered, UTD on shots and started on Heartguard, if they are old enough. **

MALE LABS FOR ADOPTION:

 GAVIN: MALE, BLACK LAB mix, 8 MONTHS OLD.

  Gavin is a very sweet, handsome young man. He has been adopted once, but due to owner allergies he has been returned. He is very social, good with other dogs, he is okay with cats!! He is well mannered and is good with kids too.
